NerveRepack at the 90th Anniversary Congress of the Romanian Academy of Medical Sciences

To celebrate 90 years of academic excellence, the Romanian Academy of Medical Sciences hosted a high-level scientific congress in Bucharest, bringing together distinguished voices from the Romanian medical and scientific community. The event featured discussions on topics such as artificial intelligence in medicine, scientific research, clinical trials, and the advancement of medical technologies in Romania.

The congress was attended by prominent national figures, including representatives of the Romanian Presidency, the Government, the Romanian Patriarchate, and the National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices.

NerveRepack was presented within the scientific program and project representatives contributed as speakers in several thematic sessions. Their interventions emphasized the project’s role in developing next-generation of neuroprosthetic systems and highlighted the relevance of interdisciplinary collaboration in advancing medical innovation. On this occasion, two members of the NerveRepack consortium, Prof. Dr. Ana Maria Oproiu and Prof. Adrian Barbilian, received awards in recognition of their valuable contributions to the field.
