UMF participate in NerveRepack project with a multidisciplinary group of medical experts and healthcare professionals, including plastic surgeons, neurosurgeons, neurologists, orthopaedic surgeons, anesthesiologists, professionals in recovery medicine, and kinesiotherapists, all dedicated to the project's success. In NervereRepack project the UMF primary focus is on developing and implementing robust protocols that prioritize patient safety while striving for optimal clinical outcomes, evaluated through measurable and evidence-based methods. Collaborating closely with engineering teams, UMF will contribute medical expertise in areas such as biocompatibility, medical data integration, and device design optimization. The ultimate goal of UMF in NerveRepack project is the successful implantation of the new device (electrodes and electronic module). Additionally, UMF will play a vital role in defining procedures and recovery strategies to support the effective adoption of this groundbreaking technology by patients.
